Dishwasher

Jorgensen Farms is made up of multiple divisions, creating a unique agritourism environment that blends organic farming with special events. Serving clients and guests at Jorgensen Farms’ unique event venues is the most important part of the experience we provide.  The Dishwasher will be responsible for overseeing all catering equipment appearance and organization, maintaining kitchen and event dishes, packing equipment for our Historic Barn events, and maintaining catering inventory at both venues while providing exceptional service every step of the way. 

Responsibilities

  • Wash and restock kitchen and event dishes using Oak Grove dish tank or hand washing

  • Keep Catering equipment and equipment storage areas organized

  • Work with Catering Manager to identify dish tank maintenance and repair needs

  • Work with Head Chef on dish tank supply ordering 

  • Maintain catering equipment appearance

  • Bag ice in preparation for events when needed

  • Load and unload catering van with necessary equipment prior to each Historic Barn Event

  • Drive Catering Van on and off the property as needed

  • Maintain Historic Barn catering inventory

  • Ensures all work areas remain safe and clean, including trash/recycling removal, sweeping, mopping and general cleaning duties

  • Under the direction of the Head Chef, assist with food preparation when needed

  • Other duties as assigned

  • Must have the ability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to lift over 50lbs.

  • Able to stand for the duration of a shift

  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license

Experience & Education

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant restaurant, catering, or event services experience

  • Experience in dish tank and catering equipment operation required

  • Maintenance of catering equipment preferred
