The lamb that we raise on Jorgensen Farms is organic pasture raised Romney lamb. We use no hormones or antibiotics, nor do we feed them any animal by-products. Our organic pasture is grown without chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides. A mix of warm weather and cool weather grasses, alfalfa and clover ensure that they have plenty to eat year round; rotational grazing ensures regular, fresh, clean feed. Their diet is supplemented with organic grain and essential salt and minerals.
Our sheep are raised for breeding stock, lamb for meat, and wool for hand spinners and knitters.
Humane treatment and low-stress handling ensure a premium product.
